On July 8th Steve packed up his bike and his lycra and headed to the mountains of Annecy, where with 15,000 other like minded and adrenaline filled cyclists took part in the biggest sportive amateur cycling has to offer.
The route for this annual event was the 12th stage of this years Tour De France, a mountain stage with 4 category one climbs and covering 169 km in the day.
The inspiration for this challenge was to raise money on behalf of the Relocation Agent Network’s support of the Huntington Disease Association and in finishing the event a total of close to £1500 was raised.
